Microblading
- Keep a barrier of ointment on your newly tattooed procedure.
- Use the product that your technician gave you.
- Apply ointment for a minimum of 5-7 days, at least 3 times per day.-Areas should remain “shiny” with ointment for the first 5 days to prevent the development of scabbing. Moist “shiny” skin prevents scabbing, which will lead to additional pigment loss.
- DO NOT pick or peel flaking skin.
- No sun or tanning for a minimum of 14 days.
- No swimming for at least 7 days. Apply an occlusive layer of ointment until fully healed.
- Do no stand facing the shower head. Gently splash water onto areas for the first 5 days. Use only a gentle cleanser, no anti-aging facial washes, for 3 days following.
- You may ice for 10 minutes every hour. Place ice cubes in a disposable bag to prevent leeching of pigment. Use new bag each session to prevent spreading of germs.
- Do not use any alpha-hydroxy acids, Retin A, hydrocortisone, or benzyl peroxide products for at least 14 days.
- Do not resume any hair removal methods for at least 14 days.
What to expect after your Microblading procedure:
Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning & Chemical Peel
- Keep the new skin clean and moisturized.
- Cold compresses may be used as necessary.
- Use of a gentle cleanser only. Only benign (bland) moisturizers should be used.
- It is important to avoid irritating the treated skin with harsh chemicals, rubbing or tanning for one week. Apply a cool compress if required 1 – 2 hours after treatment to relieve any swelling or sensation.
- DO NOT scratch, pick, pull or exfoliate the treated skin. You WILL scar or pigment yourself & these scars or pigment may end up being permanent.
- Apply healing lotion as advised by us. I Rescue Post Treatment Recovery Balm is a fantastic product to use post treatment. We always have a good supply in clinic.
- NO SUNBURN! This is imperative! You can not only risk the outcome of your treatment, but can also cause much greater damage to the skin than you normally would. This is new, fresh, skin. Much like a baby’s skin, you need to protect it accordingly.
- Use (minimum) SPF 15 sunscreen DAILY, for at least 72 hours after your treatment, regardless if you are planning to be in the sun or not. Be mindful that some sunscreens containing chemicals may be too harsh for your skin and you may react to them as a result.
- Do not use glycolic, alpha hydroxyl (AHA), beta hydroxyl (BHA), retinol, benzyl peroxide or topical acne medications for 24-48 hours following treatment.
- You may resume prescription Vitamin A (retinoid) products) 3 – 7 days after last microdermabrasion treatment or as instructed by your dermal clinician. If you are receiving a series of treatments, do not resume any of these products until after you have completed your last microdermabrasion treatment.

Only approved product to put on immediately after a lift that will not cause your Elleebana Lash Lift to fall is the Elleevate Mascara.
We also advise that because the clients lashes are still maleable (shape shifting) a side sleeper or face sleeper can notice one or both eyes can, raise or drop, leaving the lashes misshaped. Sleeping on the back is best. Avoid face washes that are mainly oil as this can also cause lashes to drop prematurely. If you apply the Elleevate mascara make sure that you remove it with cold water, within the 24 hour period.
